Grand Hotel and its sister hotel, Hotel Lundia, were the first in the region to complete the security certification, achieved in January 2007.

SKÅNSKA MATUPPLEVELSER
“Many chefs here are proud of Skåne’s food traditions. This is something that we wish to maintain, develop and show off. This was the inspiration behind ‘Skånska Matupplevelser’ [Skåne Food Experiences] and at present 27 restaurants are certified. In simple terms, these incorporate the very best of Skåne including inns, gourmet restaurants and some of the Nordic region’s best chefs. Centre-stage is of course the food from Skåne and its fantastic raw materials. Those restaurants and inns that are included have a strong profile but there is a desire also to develop food traditions and this preferably together with other restaurateurs.”
